There. Now that “How do I begin?” is out of the way, it must be time for another blog staple: The List.
(Inspired by Oh Joy! blog) Top Four Things Making Me Happy This Week:
- Jeopardy (even though I have yet to answer a final Jeopardy question correctly, ever, and so far this month my sister/roommate has beat me at 2 – 0).
- The return of the Christmas orange. I love the smell. In fact, I think it might be my favourtie smell in the world. Yes, after careful consideration, I’ve decided that it is.
- 5awesomegays videos on YouTube. I am slowly catching up — right now I’m in January of 2009. Andy just left, Michael has started, Korey is staying cute, Joe has just moved to Philly to live with Stevie, and Tyler wants to be my new best friend.
- The prospect of getting into one of the following in September: Western, Queen’s, U of T, Laurier, or Nipissing.
Top Four Things I Am Missing This Week:
- The smell of Kettleman’s on Bank in Ottawa. Turkey on sesame seed, why have you forsaken me??
- Watching Grey’s with my 36 B crew. My neighbour Jodie will have to do (even though we all know she’s a poor man’s BFF).
- My ex-boyfriend. We broke up in August, and about half the time I am fine without him, and half the time I feel like I’ll never be whole again. But that’s a whole other story.
- The camaraderie of being an undergrad. Tis the season of papers and finals, but it just doesn’t feel the same without other students to commiserate.
